Yay! My dog finally had her puppies! She was at risk for a c-section, which I was so worried about, but she was able to do it naturally!
She had her first puppy around noon yesterday, and the last at 2:00am! I am so amazed at my dog! She was in labor for 14 hours! what amazes me more is that she had 10 puppies! 10! For her being such a small dog, 10 puppies seems like so much to have in her belly! Unfortunately two of the pups were stillborn, but the other eight are alive and well. The vet had told me that there would be at the most eight puppies in her tummy, so I was SO shocked when she had the extra two! She had six healthy puppies, and then the seventh and eighth were both stillborn. I figured she was done after that, and was shocked to check on her in the middle of the night and find that she was not finished popping the puppies out!
I am so happy that everything went so well. I am anxious to see how the puppies look and act as they start to grow in the next couple of weeks. If anyone is interested in a puppy... let me know!

I have fallen in love with these puppies! I wish I could have one, but where we live there are no pets allowed. Like Janelle said, your dog is a rock star! I don't know how she did it, one is a challenge enough. I guess the human race is really weak after all.
O Jenn you are in for it! My dog just had puppies and they are so cute but youp wait, they will stink you out of house and home! They are so cute though! I have not talked too you in forever! Your blog is way cute. You should come too the next girls night, november 1st! Lisa is having triplets so we are throwing her a shower! I would love too see you!
